Laugh for the Fun…Laugh for the Cause…Laugh for the Cure!
The Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Charlotte Affiliate is thrilled to present the city’s 9th annual Laugh for the Cure® (LFTC) event, an evening unlike any other to help raise awareness and funding for breast health programs in our community. LFTC begins at 6:00pm with hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction held in the Spirit Square Atrium. Guests must be seated in the McGlohon Theatre by 7:15pm for the live auction and hilarious PG comedy show. This year's comics are two of the finest comedians touring today, Frankie Paul and Debi Gutierrez, and they will have the crowd ‘laughing for a cure’! The evening concludes by 9:30pm.
Laugh for the Cure is a grass-roots effort founded in Charlotte in 2002 and it has quickly become the city's premier night of comedy and charity. For more information or to view a short 5 min LFTC video, visit www.laughforthecure.com.

The Komen Charlotte Race for the Cure raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease. It is a unique walk/run that brings thousands of participants and volunteers together with one common goal, to help eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. On Race day, signs are provided “in memory of” or “in honor of” loved ones for participants to pin on their backs. It is a personal way for individuals to share their stories with others around them. The walk/run begins at 8am and usually all of the morning activities are finished by 11am. We realize in this hectic world that Saturday mornings are very precious to most of us. However, we promise that if you take the time to participate, it is one Saturday morning you will never forget.
