Susan G. Komen for the Cure® operates by awarding grants to nonprofit organizations with expertise in community health or breast cancer research.
Community Health 75% of Komen Charlotte’s net income is awarded to organizations in nine counties that provide breast health information, screening, diagnoses and treatment. Research 25% supports breast cancer research grants across the country.
